During my prenup and my wedding day a few years back as I look right now the pictures captured by MagicDow amaze me, how can pictures show magnificent stories like it was yesterday’s event.
I was captivated by their service that makes me wonder if they could do pet photography for our newly added member of the family, our dog, Yumi the Pomeranian.
We recently adopted Yumi because our son keeps on whining and whining just wanting to get a dog. So, I tried talking with my husband if he agrees to let our son have a dog. Which he agrees only if we could adopt a small dog not the big ones just to make sure our son wouldn’t have a hard time taking care of his dog.
After adopting Yumi and let her adjust to her new environment that when I decided to personally contact Bernard of MagicDow to schedule an appointment for our family and asked if they can do pet photography because it's rare in Singapore to have one.
As I explained to Bernard what theme I wanted to be a photographer, he immediately suggested if we could do the photo-shoot session in our humble home. This will help to add details like the warmth and cozy presence to make sure that our family daily routine is captured well.
I specially requested if they take a few shots of our son growing up as I want him to see how adorable he is playing with Yumi; to capture every moment that could last for generations to pass on.
Back then, when I was young, we have a lot of pets around the house like cats, dogs, and parrots. It was mesmerizing childhood days, sad to say I have one photo but there is a lot of eventful scenes in my memories that weren’t captured.
I want my family to have something to remember; photographs of memories so that they could easily reminisce and share to others the moment of their life. Mostly for our pet animals, because their lifespan is shorter than humans, Some of them only last for 8 to 10 years more or less. So, I wanted to have something for my child to remember when Yumi move to the next life.
Before the photo-shoot session to happen, I tried training Yumi to behave most properly. As a pet owner, I don’t want to make things harder for the team of MagicDow because doing pet photography isn’t easy at all.
When I was training Yumi to behave, mostly I bribed her with snacks so she could stay still for a while to make the best moments can be captured. Some shots were taken in the meadow in our garden while my son and Yumi are eating. Those shots were lovely to see!
It took hours, almost the whole day just to finish everything. Thankfully, the day ended a blast! We are all happy with the outcome of the photos and now aside from the print outs, and I asked them if they could send the raw files aside from the edited ones.
We absolutely love the photos captured by MagicDow. If you want to capture every moment of your life, have MagicDow to do the trick, because every moment counts in Singapore.
