We would not have a minimalist condo interior if it wasn’t for the interior designers that we hired after we got married. She helped us made our condo space look spacious and functional.

Since we could not afford a landed house, we decided to buy a condominium instead. We decided to do the condo renovations after our marriage because we were too busy with the wedding preparations back then that we forgot to take care of the condo. Because of this, we don’t have a house yet that can be used and we ended up living in my parents’ house. So, we looked for an interior designer who can finish the renovations as soon as possible and luckily, we found one. It was thanks to a close friend of mine who is a real estate agent that we found an interior designer. He recommended some of his clients who also hired an interior designer before and those clients gave us referrals. Among all the options, we chose this particular interior designer because of her creative and professional work.

During the Consultation

When we were about to meet with the interior designer, I thought it was going to be difficult to discuss all our plans to her because both of us are not sociable people. But when we actually met her, we were surprised by outgoing and amiable she is. It was easy to work with her because she listens very well to our plans, and she even gave suggestions that would improve our ideas. Since we wanted to go for a minimalist interior design, she helped us choose the colours and home furniture that we should use for our home. She even came prepared that she was able to present us some sample photos of minimalist interior designs.

During the Renovations

When the renovations started, me and my husband were out of the country to attend a week-long seminar. We stayed in Japan for a couple of weeks so that we could spend some time touring around the country. I was kind of anxious about leaving the house behind because we won’t be able to monitor the renovations. Fortunately, it was easy to contact our interior designer. I wouldn’t want to bother her too much so we come up with an agreement to set a designated time for asking and giving updates. She never failed to answer our calls and she would always give prompt responses in our inquiries. Because of this, I felt less anxious. I enjoyed our trip and I was able to focus on the seminar.

When we got back, we were surprised by the progress of the whole renovations. Although it still needs a few weeks to be done, we could already see the major changes and we can now picture out the finished look of the condo. We were amazed by how spacious it is even though our condo has only a limited space.

Another few weeks passed and everything was done! We thanked our interior designer for making our new home look modern and exquisite.

So, if you are also aiming for a minimalist house interior design in Singapore, I suggest that you hire one of the interior designers of FineLine. I can assure that this interior designer firm in Singapore is a reliable and trusted one.
